Matthew Rogers
MRI supervisor and team lead
“Part of the reason I love working here is that I have had the opportunity for continuous learning,” Matthew Rogers, MRI Supervisor and team lead with Diagnostic Imaging says. “Our leadership is never content to just stand still and there’s always something to learn and to strive for.”
Case in point can be seen in Rogers’ career trajectory with the IWK. He started in 1996 with a part-time position in nuclear medicine and became full-time in 1998. In 2002, the MRI was installed and Rogers was able to take courses to train as an MRI Tech.
“I love working at the IWK because it’s a very special place,” Rogers says. “You can tell as soon as you walk into the place there is a special feeling – there is no other place like it.”
